Trouble Wanted is a DIY queer band featuring Lucy Nurnberg on vocals alongside Ana Tiene, Marie Malarie, Lydia Garnett and Wet Mess.
They band write songs about dyke longing, mommy issues and horses, and perform irregularly at venues in east and south-east London like the Shacklewell Arms, The Victoria and Matchstick Piehouse. In 2020, they made a music video for their first single, Lonely Cowgirl, a tale of romance between a dyke trucker and a cowgirl that is set at a fantasy roadside bar. The video won the Iris Prize for best LGBTQ+ Community Film, and was also nominated for the best music video at Raindance and best wardrobe in a music video at the UKMVAs. The video was selected at festivals including Fringe! Queer Film & Arts Fest and Leeds International Film Festival.
